MEET KYLE

Kyle Freudenberg is a Jackson Hole based filmmaker specializing in documentary productions. With a background in post production, Freudenberg demonstrates a strong technical foundation in all aspects of the production process, with a full comprehension of what is needed from start to finish. 

Born and raised in the high deserts of Southern Colorado, Freudenberg has a passion for being outside and sharing this passion through cinematic expression. These passions led her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and a minor in English from the University of Colorado at Boulder graduating in 2018. During Freudenberg’s time in Boulder, she found herself focusing on a career in documentary and action sports filmmaking. She gained professional experience as an Assistant Editor at Roam Media and Sender Films, before landing at Teton Gravity Research (TGR) in 2019. 

With TGR, Freudenberg worked on a wide variety of films and digital content as a Post Production Supervisor, Editor and Digital Imaging Technician. Most recently, Freudenberg acted as the Associate Post Production Supervisor and Digital Imaging Technician for the HBO Emmy nominated series Edge of the Earth. Edge of the Earth was a multi-year project highlighting elite athletes around the world as they pushed the limits of possibility in some of the most remote places on the planet. 

When Freudenberg is not behind the lens or in the editing bay, she is an avid snowboard mountaineer, completing her Avalanche Pro 1 in 2022, and whitewater kayaker. She draws her inspiration from natural environments and pushing her physical limits, finding solace in shared human experiences and powerful stories.
